Highspot, a leading sales enablement platform in the industry, recently made an announcement detailing the completion of its $35 million Series C round of financing. The exercise was led by a new investor OpenView.

Companies such as Shasta Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and Madrona Venture Group also participated in the round. Up to now, Highspot has secured a whopping $64 million in financing.

The investment is expected to power Highspot’s market expansion. The demand for the company’s sales enablement technology has significantly increased in recent times.

In fact, the 2017 CSO Insights Sales Enablement Optimization Report revealed that the percentage of companies boasting a committed enablement function, program or person skyrocketed by 180% last year.

With Highspot’s in-depth knowledge of customer-first focus, superior technology, and market need, the company has witnessed over 300% user increment year-over-year. It also experiences a 90% usage and adoption on average.

“Highspot is the ideal investment for us, given our firm’s focus on product-led growth and rapid market expansion.

After speaking with Highspot’s customers, it was clear that the company is changing the sales enablement landscape in a fundamental way by creating a product that is indispensable to a seller’s daily workflow,” said Blake Bartlett, a partner at OpenView who will join Highspot’s Board of Directors.

“Having achieved a leadership position in the sales enablement space, Highspot is poised to scale globally.

Our growing team is attracting industry top talent, which is accelerating innovation and fueling our hyper-growth. We are excited to partner with OpenView, and we look forward to taking our sales enablement solution that sales reps and marketers love to new markets,” said Highspot co-founder and CEO Robert Wahbe.

Aside from the investment, Highspot has attained notable achievements in the year including its recognition as the Best Content Management Platform and the Best Sales Enablement Platform by the CODiE Awards. It also won the MarTech Breakthrough Awards’ Best Overall Sales Enablement Solution segment.
